Tuatara Kids, a place where children’s natural love of play and learning is cultivated and inspired in a safe, creative and caring environment.

Tuatara Kids are privately owned Childcare Centres located in Miramar, Wellington. We provide full day Childcare for children aged six months to five years.
We offer 20 Free Hours Early Childhood Education.
The centres are open from 7.45 am – 5.45 pm.

Tuatara Kids - Teina cares for children aged 6 months to 3 years old.

Tuatara Kids - Tuakana cares for children aged 3 to 5 years old

Philosophy

We the teachers at Tuatara Kids believe:

Children are capable of making their own decisions and judgements, while risk taking and using trial and error to learn at their own pace. Children learn through daily interaction with others.
